Quick report

Can drive to the trailhead with just a few small patches of snow. Consistent snow just before entering Bean Basin. Not a complete overnight freeze. Solar aspects started to bake as soon as the sun hit. Upper elevations of West side of Earl were corn by 11.

Avalanche

Skier triggered slow moving wet loose on solars, especially near rocks, entrained the top layer of baked snow directly below trigger points. Cornice failure triggered wet loose on Judis shoulder.
