Quick report
Dug a pit @ 7631ft WNW aspect. Great layer of fresh powder on top of a somewhat supportive harder layer from the warmup earlier this week. Under that, there's some less dense snow and the massive and fairly reactive faceted layer about 50cm down. Somewhat difficult to trigger through the dense layers, but will likely propagate if triggered (PST 35/100 END @50cm). I Skied Main Street and was super awesome - stayed in the powder zone and never punched through the dense layers. See attached Pit profile for CT & ECT Results. NOTE: Map location is approximate.
