Quick report

Lots of wind loading and wind affected snow, even well below tree line in sheltered areas. Wind had shifted entirely to the east today. Big cornices now get backfilled with wind blown snow. Stability test showed good stability (ECT 30), but a dense layer of snow on top of the crust begins about 20 cm down. That dense layer (approximately 80 cm deep) slid off all together knocking me down when I stuck my shovel behind the column and slightly pulled.
