Quick report

Toured up Gable lakes. Lots of fresh snow near the crest at 12k+—did not measure but I would say around 2ft from the last storms. Much less lower down. Surface snow was beginning to get warm and wet on almost all aspects and elevations that had sun by 11:30am. Winds were calm. Very minor amounts of snow transport at ridge-top. New snow had very little wind affect. Noticed some old slides from the past storm. One had a surprisingly wide crown that connected across rock features.

Noticed this slide from a distance. Hard to say what happened but guessing it ran sometime during the last storm. Crown was quite wide breaking across the rocks. Could not see enough details but there appeared to be a potential second crown on the face to the right of the photo as well.
