Avalanche: Skyline

Moderate speed south wind Monday night created fresh drifts that were sensitive Tuesday morning. There were numerous snowmobile triggered wind slab avalanches around the top of Fairview Canyon and Skyline Summit. These avalanches didn't pose all that much threat of burial. They were large enough to carry a person or perhaps knock them off their machine.

There were also a handful of snowmobile triggered small avalanches in Ephraim Canyon. These were also from wind drifted snow.
