Low valley fog in the morning until about 4000' in elevation around 1200, then clear skies above that fog. Low valley fog returned around 1500.
Snowpack
Snow was locked up on any aspect all bands where shaded. On south and southwest facing aspects, where the terrain was lower angle, the surface softened about 1 cm, and on higher angles 35+, we were able to get a boot penetration above the ankle around 13:30. Surface hoar on all aspects and elevations.
