Quick report

Evidence of a large avalanche (estimated D3R4 by our party) was discovered on a NW aspect of Angora Peak. Crown was not observed. Within the runout we observed snapped and pushed over mature trees as well as flagging. The debris pile was still evident on the surface, although clearly old. We presumed this slide happened at some point late during the storm cycle that occurred 2/29-3/4. We estimate the avalanche to be 100 feet wide and ran approximately 1000 feet.
