- <p>Snowpit results on this layer at 9500' N facing 12 degree slope were CT 30 SP down 70, ECT N 22 down 70. It goes without saying this problem is still present and I was surprised to find an untouched small N facing knoll with my students to do some tests today. Other snowpits on SE and S facing terrain produced no results.</p>
surface hoar found extensively in Grizzly Gulch, but our snow obs were mostly done in AM. I suspect quite a bit will survive to be buried tomorrow.
