Quick report
Traveled up the easterly snodgrass road/normal skin track to the Summit. Cloudy sky to start the day, steady W/SW wind in the open areas with light, moist snowfall at 10am. Wind was calm in the trees. New 5cm of snow at the parking lot and 8cm measured at the summit. Dropped into first bowl (N aspect, 11,100ft) around 11:30am as the clouds started to break up and sun was intermittently shining. Few ski cuts on the ridge line did produce small wind slab release (see picture). Snow surface was crusty under the new snow layer up top and became softer as I got lower in elevation for enjoyable skiing.
