Quick report

Collapsing
isolated

Headed straight to Taylor pass. Dug a pit on the final ascent after some wumphfing in the valley. CTX and ECTX. Persistent layer was over 5’ deep. Some recent avalanches appeared to be on storm interface about 2’ down, but our tests weren’t reacting on that layer. Skied sunburst from weather station with nice consistency. Crusty down by car.

Avalanche

Recent avalanches on North side of Magnum. Crowns looked like storm interface about 2. Older slides visible all over Pastoral, Sunburst, and Lyon Creek.
