Quick report

I visited the primary paved trailheads in the forecast region today to evaluate conditions at the leading edge of the storm. Light snow flurries in the morning gave way to wind, snow, and rain in the afternoon. Not much of the initial snow was sticking to the warm, bare ground. A trace of graupel was on old snow surfaces. Snow/rain line was fluctuating but generally around 8,000ft when precipitation increased in the early afternoon.
