Quick report

Riding out at Ebbetts pass we ended up by pacific valley to an elevation around 8000ft. During our ride today we didn’t see any new signs of avalanches or instability. The morning snow was crusty which softened quickly throughout the day . We found snow depth at 270cm where we dug a snow pit. We dug down to and past the persistent weak layer where we performed a shovel tap test and could not trigger a slide or signs of instability.
