Drop in point at 8878 feet on a southeast slope light snowfall beginning but sunshine peeking through the clouds upper layers of snow like powder, very cold. Lots of evidence of wind effect on the snow. Large wind slabs observable down wind of Ridge lines. Very blustery just outside of the canyon but very calm right here.
