Quick report

Skiied the face of Jug and dug a pit for curiosity, as we planned to travel conservatively. The snow above treeline was widely wind affected, with poor visibility along the ridge. Dug in a sheltered location just below treeline and found the interfaces within the last two days of snow (10 and 20 cm down) still a little touchy. However, the nearly 2' of new snow resting on last week's warming crust is well consolidated and was difficult to trigger a collapse, which did not propagate.
