Quick report
Today, we traveled up the cog and into a few different NW-facing landslides. Snow totals on the Westside were a bit lower than those reported at Hermit Lake and the Summit, and the 2" or so that did fall were actively being transported by West winds. Visibility was obscured most of the day, and graupel fell intermittently. In the sheltered lower reaches of the gullies we skied, the turns were quite nice. Above and adjacent to Jacob's Ladder however, it was scoured and firm. In our travels, no signs of instability were observed.
