Weather

Warm, sunny, and generally calm winds. A high of 49 degrees and prevailing wind direction from the south.

Snowpack

Overnight freezing temperatures have capped moist snow with around 20cm of refrozen surfaces. This re-freeze provides a supportable surface for ski pressure but is variable in supportability to boot pressure. Dust has reemerged on many slopes. All aspects and elevations have experienced the recent warm temperatures, settling out any instabilities that may have emerged from recent snow.

Avalanche

Previous loose wet avalanche activity observed on many slopes due to warm temperatures over the last few weeks.
