Quick report

Dropped the Washoe Valley side of Diamond Peak from their backcountry gate. Snow was holding up surprisingly well. 750ft below the ridge the snow was starting to get soft and sticky from the afternoon sun (1:30pm). Lower down there were pinwheels starting to form off of tree bombs and from the boulders. Dug a pit about 500ft below the ridge in an open glade away from trees and boulders. Extended column test yielded ECTX.
