Quick report

We did a late morning early afternoon tour in the Mt Judah Trestle Peak area. Temps were cool to warm with scattered clouds becoming mostly cloudy by early afternoon. Cloud cover kept the hot sun from doing too much damage. Winds were light out of the SW. Snow was cold and smooth up high and in sheltered mid elevation areas. Solar aspects had some sun crusts but over all the snow was firm and supportable throughout the upper parts of the tour. By the lower elevations even sheltered true north facing slopes were hot, manky and no fun for skiing. A few convective snow showers in the afternoon.
