Quick report

A calm day and quiet snowpack on Mount Emmons. A couple of recent small wind slab avalanches could be seen in the forecast zone. Wind transport was observed on Mount Axtell (see picture). Recent winds have textured snow surfaces near and above treeline. The alternatively scoured (windward) and corniced (leeward) ridge line of Mount Emmons tells the story of recent days. Recent wind slab activity observed throughout the zone.
