Quick report

We toured Incline peak area looking for soft snow on sheltered N aspects. Although upper elevations remain a mixture of variable firm and wind-sculpted surfaces, F hard near surface facets provided good skiing in protected NT and BT areas that aren’t receiving direct sun. Although the day felt warm, a cold NW wind on the ridgetops kept solar aspects from softening very quickly. We found a bit of corn skiing at lower elevations on a S aspect, but upper elevations in this area remained firm at noon.
