Quick report

We toured Elderberry Canyon to the bottom of the cirque, about 10,700 feet. We observed significant wind transport of recent snow along ridgelines. Other than the wind transport no signs of instability were observed. Snow conditions were wind affected powder from approximately 10,700 to 7500 feet, with increasing quality as we went down. Below 7500 snow was becoming increasingly slushy. You can ski old Avy debris in the gully to the end of the road at ~6300 feet.
