Quick report

No signs of instability on skin uphill. Dug a pit and no signs of instability with ECT. I performed ski cut testing approximately 20 ft above crown without signs of cracking or whumps. Performed 3 stomps above entry without triggering anything.

Northwest leeward slope approx 30 deg through rocky ridge line. Skier dropped into start of drop and triggered avalanche on the second turn. Started with slough and picked up momentum under ridge line. Skier rode avalanche staying on surface approximately 100 yards and was not injured. Avalanche was roughly 50 -10 ft wide and 100-150 yards in length. Roughly 8-12 inch crown.
