Heavy snow in the morning. Cooling temperatures in the afternoon. Light westerly winds during obs.
Snowpack
New snow layer contained several changes, some were reactive. Mid pack is generally strong, but surface hoar layer is still an issue in this area. Depth hoar is rounding and we observed an ice crust at the ground at the near treeline location. Biggest issues are new snow and low prob/high con surface hoar layer.
