Quick report

The wind forecast for the day was accurate. It was windy above Panorama Point, gusts of over 20mph. Because of the wind, we decided to drop down into Edith Creek. The skiing down into Edith Creek from Pan Point was challenging for two reasons. One, the light was flat which made navigating micro terrain challenging. Two, there were variable skiing conditions from breakable crust to wind deposited powder. We observed a very large cornice on an eastern aspect off the east side of Pan Point. Towards the end of the day in Edith Creek, at around 6,000’ and below, we experienced corn snow on south facing aspects.
