Quick report

The snowpack in the Northern Blues is melting fast. At 1100 hrs on a partly sunny 40° day the corn was fantastic. Several areas around trees and rock outcroppings are bare. Observed several windblown cornices that had sloughed off and tried to run but were slowed by wet snow enough to halt progress downslope. Was able to ski several ridges off of the Buck Ridge summer trail.
