Quick report

Very bare snow cover in pockets. Warm temps, moderate winds, sunny skies. Snow surface, where it has survived the last rains was very hard suncups. We had hoped to luck into corn or slush to ride on, but ended up just carrying. First snow patch encountered at 6,158 ft. Small continuous patches could be found around 6,683 ft. Nothing looked close to worth the risk to try and ride it beneath where we were on Cooper Spur.
