Ruby Mountain along Happy Creek trail, starting from Ross Dam Trailhead

Quick report

Very difficult travel down low. Boot packing over dirt, ice, or light snow covered boulder field (ankle hazard) up to 3900 feet. Didn’t continue higher to find skiable snow, but another group told us they saw skiable snow at maybe 4100 feet but also turned around before reaching it.
