Quick report
Not much to see during the evening driving tour despite the warm temperatures and direct sunshine. We observed a handful of small natural fresh-looking wet loose avalanches in upper elevations near rock outcrops and cliff bands. Many snow surfaces on E aspects appeared glassy and reflective - indicating liquid water today and crusts tomorrow morning. It seems that the snowpack has adapted well to the melt/freeze/small storm cycles of the past couple of weeks.

Snowpack
The mid-March dust on snow layer is beginning to reappear in many locations below 9k' (schucks!). Light ridgetop winds may have helped keep things glued together today in the alpine.
Avalanche
Observed a handful of small (D1-D1.5) natural fresh wet loose avalanches in alpine terrain under rock outcrops/cliff bands primarily on SW, W, and NW aspects. Presumably these happened either today or yesterday, given the debris. Nothing large enough to bury a person.
