Quick report

About a foot of light, dry new snow overnight and so far today (4pm). It was coming down at about 1" per hour this morning, then slowed down slightly but still snowing continually. Temps were in the mid to high 20s all day; no wind at all. Sage and shrubs on the hillside are not yet covered, since the ground was almost bare here at the end of Dry January, so hopefully this will make a well anchored layer. Activity: shoveling.
