Quick report

As we ascended through avalanche gulch there was moderate rime falling from above. We did not observe any wind slab fractures as everything above 10k is frozen. No instabilities or cracking. Above avalanche gulch was all frozen sastrugi/rime which made for awful skiing. Descended around 12:30 and there was no softening of the surface until around 9.5k. The heart was survival skiing at its finest, it did not soften up and was a firm wind/ice surface. Incredible day on the upper mountain as we mostly had it to ourselves. Moderate winds at 12k from the E-SE but no signs of snow transport.
