Quick report
Steady rain and wind were observed throughout the Turangain and Summit Lake forecast areas with rainline at approximately 2500' to 3000'. A layer of wet snow on the surface could lead to wet loose avalanches at treeline and below. Above the rainline the combination of snow and wind is likely forming wind slabs along ridgelines and exposed features.

Steady rain throughout our drive from Girdwood to Summit Lake and a brief tour up to treeline on Sunburst. Winds were light in the valley bottoms but picked up at treeline.
Snowpack
There was about 6" (10 cm) of wet snow on the surface which was easy to trigger on steep test slopes and start small wet loose avalanches. We did not dig a formal snowpit.
Avalanche
We saw a few debris piles through the clouds but they are likely old glide releases that look fresh due to the rain (see media).
