Frequent loose wet Frequent small point releases on the steeper aspects of the NE face of Rolleston. Snow had frozen overnight but started releasing small amounts with sun exposure quite quickly. Lower angle aspects appeared more stable by the time we left around 11am. Widespread debris from old loose wet releases present on most steep aspects around the Otira valley up to size 2-2.5 (pictured).
