Quick report

Collapsing
isolated

Small isolated whumpfing on the THINLY covered ridge as we climbed. Failed below a 1” denser later. Snowpack at the spot of interest was 3” F, a 1” P, then 3-5” snow varying from facets to less dense wind transported snow at the base. Extensive rollerball like snow failure on the NW aspect looking up from bottom of ski line (see photo). Snowpack skiing was 5”-8” “dust on crust” over a dense wind slab. No depth checks were made on the ski slope itself.
