Quick report

LOTS of downed trees. Fluffy snow on way up. Wind started to affect the snow around 6500 with a hard surface starting around 7200. Those nice big cornices are on the ridge to the lookout. Around 7200 the wind started to affect the snowpack and a hard layer formed on top. When skinned on, the surface would crack under the ski weight and break into chunks.

Snowpack

Snow was soft and pleasant most of the way up Brown. 6 inches off the surface near the bottom you could feel the ice crust. 300 feet from the Summit the wind started to affect the snowpack. Half way down a little warming was noticeable and made the snow more creamy. Set a track from the bottom to the ridge, so lots of untouched snow to ski.
