Quick report

We rode to Round Lake, north of Sheep Mtn., around south of Sotch Bonnet, north over Lulu to Abundance Lake Boundary, Back over Daisy.

Avalanches: one big fresh avalanche below Chimney Rock that was triggered today by a snowmobiler (photo attached), 4-6 fresh wind slab avalanches, D1s 6-10" deep. Many (7+) older, but semi-recent large persistent slabs, D2-3 which had not previously been reported. I would guess these all happened at various times over the last week. Large avalanches that were reported one week ago (Sheep, Scotch Bonnet) were almost fully filled in, and there were a handful that appeared much more recent. (one photo attached of a persistent slab on north side of Republic, looks 2-4 days old).

Signs of wind drifteing from yesterday also included some hard slabs scattered around that cracked below snowmobile tracks.
