Jumped up some snow-freeish terrain to get a view of the East Central ranges: Teanaway, Stuarts, Icicle Ridge, eastern Chiwaukum, Tumwater Mountain, and Nason Ridge. 27F at the trailhead (1200'), stable temps, OVC sky, no wind or light east winds. Faceting snow surfaces in sheltered and polar micro terrain. Snowpack appears good for the season above 7000' and in high alpine terrain. Bushwhack subalpinism/chainsaw skills required to achieve such heights.
