Quick report

Observations from a ridge ramble around the headwaters of the Stillwater Fork:

I saw no remnant snow from last season, and no recent snow. An ongoing, periodic series of rock sluffs were releasing on the NE face of Mount Agassiz (photos attached). Individual sluffs were on the small side, though the cumulative debris piles would be described as a D2 if the debris was from a snow avalanche.

FORECASTER COMMENTS: Ben VandenBos is our new avalanche forecaster for the Western Uintas. Prior to coming to Utah, Ben forecast at the Sawtooth Avalanche Center for many years. We are psyched to have Ben join our team.
