Quick report

Since the storm Monday/Tuesday winds have been relatively calm but some gusty spots. Keep an eye out for this new snow being transported or wind loaded.

Some wind loading from this weeks snowfall being moved around. Not everywhere and possible to avoid. We were able to break off some wind slabs on small test slopes.

Snowpack

Up the creek and ridge wind swept and icy conditions. In wind protected spots there was loose dry snow on top of a solid wind crust. This loose dry snow can be transported and create a wind slab that could potentially break down to the wind crust

Avalanche

A couple small wind slabs at Ridgelines had broken but did not runout or break larger than a couple feet wide
