Quick report

We were trying to take a shortcut from the SE ridge to get back to our camp below the Hayden Glacier when we witnessed this wet slab avalanche. It was around 1:50pm. It looked to be 5-8" thick crown from where we were. When we were near the avalanche some of it was out of view. We didn't realize how far it propagated until we got back to camp.

Avalanche

D2 wet slab. Naturally triggered.
