It's getting hard to separate the fresh wet loose avalanches from previous days' activity, but there were several new natural wet loose avalanches. As of 5 PM, the activity was most widespread in alpine terrain on SE-S-SW-W aspects. Natural cornice fall triggered several slides in the Smoky Mtns. In the Boulder Mtns, most of the slides originated in rocky areas with thin snowpacks. I did not see any fresh slab avalanches today.
