We traveled on a variety of S/SW/NW/W aspects throughout the day. No collapses observed but we did find surface cracking in areas with clear wind loading. The previous day's S/SW winds were observable in wind scouring of S aspects and 2-3cm wind slabs + freshly formed cornices on N aspects. A prominent sun crust exists on S aspects up to about 8200' underneath the 14cm layer of new snow. HS observed was 94cm with a fairly right side up composition if you ignore the basal facets. Densities were the following 0-15cm F, 15cm K, 16-30cm F, 31-46cm P, 47-65cm 1F, 66-79cm 4F, 80-94cm F. Our group dug a pit on a W aspect @ 8515' with the following results: CT22 SC, ECTN 22, ECTP23 and PST 79/100 (end) @64cm.
