Quick report
Traveled solo up to 7800ft atop Phat Ridge. Searched for visual signs of instability and didnt see any along south bowl, but noticed a lot of cornices forming atop the ridges due to the high winds over the past few days. Avoided slopes steeper than 30 degrees, and there was a strong wind crust forming, and and the wind has transported almost all of the new snow received this past week off of the ridges. Temps were in the mid 30's.
