Scattered morning clouds becoming overcast by noon. Light SE winds gusting to 30. High of 36 at noon, dropping off to 31 by 4 pm. Snow began in earnest around 2 pm with trace accumulation by 4pm.
Snowpack
HS: 66†MF crust everywhere this morning. Softening by midday, then refreezing as winds and clouds came in. No avalanche activity noted, things are pretty locked up. On a small, steep S facing roll the new snow slid easily off of the stout crust.
