Quick report
Typical spring conditions: the snow appeared to have been through several freeze-thaw cycles, moderately solid freeze overnight at the lower elevations, turned to corn with solar exposure. Corn was excellent after the first ~800' from the summit leaving around 11 am. Did not become saturated until the lower slopes close to treeline where another party said they had triggered a small wet loose on a short, steep roll. Wind was pretty calm until very close to the summit where it picked up to steady 30+ mph. Clouds just started to roll in near at 2 pm.
Avalanche
Small skier triggered wet loose reported by another party. Did not observe it myself but it was over a small roll just before getting to the thin trees.
