Avalanche

On an east aspect around 7200 ft a skier triggered a small (d1) wind slab while skinning. The slab was about 6” deep, 12’ wide, and ran for about 60’ in total. The bare bed surface was about 12’x15’ and for most of the total slide distance the debris was not entraining much additional snow. No one in the party was caught in the slide.
