We climbed up the palmer snowfield into white river glacier to climb the steel cliff south face but found 2' 1F wind slab on top of 2/10 crust with facets underneath on a SE aspect @9200'. We then decided to climb the Wy'east but only found similar conditions @ 10,000' on E aspects. a lot of hand pits and CT's in wind loaded terrain on E-SE aspects showed poor bonding as slabs were sitting on weak snow CTM 12" down SP
