Quick report

Red Flags
Heavy Snowfall, Wind Loading, Poor Snowpack Structure

There was waist deep snow in many spots on the north west facing areas near Patsy Trees. It just nuked all day and the winds were pretty bad and squallish at times. All this snow was piling up ontop of rotten snow and many areas I felt had 10 - 20 cm of facets underneath it. The amount of snow and wind transfer made the snow feel pretty dense for it being so new, these slabs are getting firmer and it's pretty much minesweeper out there. All of these things made me change my objective so I ended up in low angle stuff that was almost too deep to enjoy in sections.

Resorts in the area were measuring 12+ inches, but there was much much more in the Grizzly Gulch area. Alot of wind transfer while it was just nuking all day.

Winds were howling up grizzly and transporting massive amounts of snow. Some of the whale backs I saw going up the ridge were bigger than me. 6+ feet tall.
