Many small soft slab and loose dry avalanches running on the Sunday solar interface, at least a dozen between the skin and descent, and a few naturals. Relatively low density snow. Slabs were mostly harmless, very predictable and mostly point release. The biggest one, triggered on the steeper entrance to the chute (~40 degrees) ran for a few hundred feet leaving pillowy debris that actually skied well. I felt comfortable managing the hazard and enjoyed my day, but made a concerted effort to avoid terrain traps. The new low density snow was not bonding well to the old interface. Crown depth ranged from 18-6 inches depending on elevation band. Thigh deep snow was observed just below the Treasure Mountain ridge-line, indicative of gentle wind deposit. I did not encounter any wind or significant storm slab development.
