Returned to red pine and maybird for the second time after finding good skiing, and found 2-4mm surface hoar growth in rocky areas above 9000'. Snow surface was graupel mostly, with up to 12" pooling in the gullies. The overnight freeze line dropped all the way to the white pine trailhead at 7600'.
