Quick report

Sheltered terrain still holding nice, light snow. Observed some wind loading on NE slopes. Small wind slab formation on leeward exposed slopes. Couldn’t get slabs to go with stomping or ski cuts. Dug a pit at about 6200’ on a NE aspect. Snow depth: 235cm About 30cm down we found preserved graupel just above a crust (pencil hard). Standing Surface hoar found among graupel. Pencil hard rain crust found about 75cm down ECTN No whoomphs, no shooting cracks, no red flags. Light winds all day. Isolated wind transport observed. Cloudy all day - cloud deck high enough to see GNP. Around 330 viz dropped and snow began to fall lightly. Temps stayed cool all day. 33 in the lot at 445p.
